Cross Stitch Using Hand-Dyed Threads
Blackwork
Blackwork is thought to be one of the oldest embroidery techniques in existence. Blackwork pictures are simple to work - both faster and easier than cross stitch, and the effects produced can be intricate and stunning. Once the outline stitches and a small section of the filling design are completed the work can be continued without reference to the chart, making it ideal for travelling.
Cats
There are more cats in the blackwork and using hand-dyed threads.
Dogs
All kits include needle, Zweigart fabric, Anchor stranded
cotton numbered and sorted on cards, clear chart and instructions.
